POLICIES

Before You Register

Participation & Booking Policy

Caregiver Participation
A participating adult must remain with and supervise their child throughout arrival and the session, including bathroom visits and breaks. These sessions are not drop-off care. Contact MAYTEAK before bringing siblings or additional adults; attendance depends on available space and the activities planned.

Arrival & Timing
Arrive 10 to 15 minutes early. Invitation circles are available while families settle in. Sessions begin and end at the scheduled times. Enter quietly if arriving late. Late arrival does not extend the session or qualify for a refund. We can discuss a makeup.

Hands & Footwear
Wash hands before participating and after bathroom use or diaper changes. Adults and walking children must wear clean socks with nonslip grips in the movement studio. Remove outdoor shoes before entering studio. Wear shoes to the bathroom and remove them before returning. Contact us before attending about required footwear or mobility accommodations.

Grip Socks
One complimentary pair is included on the first day. Additional pairs are available for purchase. Bring clean grip socks to every session.

Feeding, Snacks & Drinks
Breastfeeding and bottle-feeding babies are welcome. Respect families feeding their babies. All other food and beverages must remain in the mini lounge area. Light prepackaged snacks and drinks are available for purchase. Check product labels for allergens; MAYTEAK does not guarantee an allergen-free environment.

Diaper Changes
Use the designated changing area, not activity mats or tables. Dispose of diapers in the designated bin and wash hands before returning.

Illness
Children and participating adults must stay home with fever, vomiting, diarrhea, or a known contagious illness requiring exclusion from group activities.

Before returning, participants must be fever-free for at least 24 hours without fever-reducing medication, with symptoms improving and feeling well enough to participate. After vomiting or diarrhea associated with illness, wait at least 48 hours after the last episode. Follow any longer restriction advised by a healthcare professional or public health authority.

Notify MAYTEAK if illness affects attendance. Staff may ask a family to leave if symptoms arise during a session. The absence and makeup terms apply.

Participation & Access Needs
Activities are optional. Caregivers must follow staff instructions and pause an activity if their child shows discomfort.

Contact MAYTEAK before registration about relevant allergies, activity restrictions, or accommodations so we can discuss what the session can provide.

Participation does not guarantee a particular developmental, educational, or personal outcome.

Safety & Shared Materials
Use materials only as directed. Keep small personal items, medication, any beverages, and other hazards out of children’s reach.

Place mouthed materials in the designated collection area rather than returning them to shared use.

Report damaged equipment, spills, injuries, or other concerns to staff immediately.

NO outside food unless MAYTEAK approved.

Caregiver supervision does not replace MAYTEAK’s responsibility for its staff, materials, and premises.

Staff may pause an activity or end participation when an immediate safety concern cannot be resolved.

Absences & Makeups
Notify MAYTEAK as soon as possible if your family cannot attend. Missed sessions are not refundable.

One makeup per enrolled series may be requested in the same age group, subject to available space.

The makeup must occur during the enrolled series. Makeups are not guaranteed, cannot be exchanged for cash, and do not carry forward. A missed makeup cannot be rescheduled.

Cancellations & Refunds
Cancellation requests must be received by email at least seven calendar days before the first scheduled session for a full refund.

Requests received later, withdrawals after the series begins, and unused sessions are not refundable.

If MAYTEAK materially changes the published schedule before the series begins, families may cancel for a full refund.

MAYTEAK Cancellations
If MAYTEAK cancels a session, including for weather or facility closure, families may choose the offered replacement date or a refund for that session alone.

If MAYTEAK cancels the entire series before it begins, a full refund is issued.

Refund Processing
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 15-30 business days. Payment providers may require additional time to post the credit.

Photography & Privacy
Ask permission before photographing or recording another family.

DO NOT RECORD/PHOTOGRAPH OTHER FAMILIES/PEOPLE/CHILDREN OR OUR CURRICULUM.

Enrollment alone does not provide photo consent.

Boutique
Books, crafts, toys, and other boutique items are available for purchase.

Boutique purchases follow a separate retail return policy.

Registration & Contact

Personal waivers for each participant in the studio must be signed prior to participation.

Review these terms before payment.

Registration confirms acceptance of the published participation and booking policy; it is not a liability waiver.

Changes to refund or makeup terms will not apply retroactively to an existing booking.
